The following stills are taken from the moving image ethnography, Matter of Britain, which records the village of Mayfield’s year-long performance of the Grail myth. The performance embedded fantastical scenes from Sir Thomas Mallory’s Le Morte d’Arthur within the everyday labours of the agricultural community.
